Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 August 2026
vb-photos is a small app that enhances real estate photos. This policy explains what it collects, what happens to the photos you upload, and how to get them removed. It covers the app at vb-photos.vercel.app only.
What we collect
Your email address. You sign in with a link we email you, so we store the address you sign in with. We use it to create your account, to send the sign-in link, and to show who is signed in.
Your Google account. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture instead. That is all we ask for, and we use it for the same purpose. We never receive your Google password.
The photos you upload, along with the enhanced versions the app generates from them, the album names you choose, and the instructions you type when refining a photo by chat.
How it is used
Your photos are stored in Vercel Blob storage, and the records that tie them to your account live in a hosted Postgres database. Albums and photos are private to the account that uploaded them.
To enhance a photo, the image is sent to Google's Gemini image model through the Vercel AI Gateway, solely to produce your enhanced version. The same happens when you ask for a further change by chat.
We do not sell your photos or your account information, we do not use them for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models.
Cookies
The app sets one cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Signing out clears it.
Keeping and deleting your data
Photos stay until you delete them. Deleting a photo removes its original file and every enhanced version; deleting an album removes all of the photos in it. Deletion is permanent — there is no trash to restore from, so keep your own copies of anything you need.
If you want your account and everything attached to it removed, email us and we will delete it.
